If you believed everything the Media told you, then you`d be convinced that Celtic want to sign every Polish goalkeeper who plays on Scottish soil.

Dundee United have had 2 Polish goalkeepers on the books at Tannadice this season and both have been linked with a move to Parkhead.

Grzegorz Szamotulski played for the 1st half of the season on-loan from Sturm Graz, but his short-term contract expired at the start of 2008.

32-year-old Szamotulski was strongly linked with a move to Celtic, but opted to join English Championship side Preston in January.

The Former Legia Warsaw and Sturm Graz player was brought to Tannadice by

anager Craig Levein, as cover for the injured 1st choice keeper Lukasz Zaluska, broke his foot during the 2007/08 pre-season campaign.

Since recovering from his foot injury, Zaluska has been quite impressively in goal, making 19 appearances this season, including the Scottish League Cup final against Rangers.

There is now speculation that AC Milan are set to make a £10million move for Celtic`s own Polish keeper, Artur Boruc, and Zaluska could be seen at his replacement.

28-year-old Boruc renewed his deal with Celtic earlier this season and is under contract until 2011, but that isn`t expected to teams like Milan, Bayern Munich and Spurs

“Boruc is an excellent goalkeeper. He has been outstanding for the past few years for Celtic in the Champions League,” admitted AC Milan general manager, Ariedo Braida, to the Daily Record.

“We are going to lose Dida and maybe our No 2 ‘keeper Kalac too so we need someone new.”

“Boruc’s valuation is high – £10million is a lot to pay – but I cannot exclude anything and it might still be possible to sign him.”

“Soon the transfer window will be open and then we will see how the market is.”

It will be impossible to replace the Holy Goalie on so many levels! Best Celt since Henrik the King of Kings.

I must say I’ve been impressed by Zaluska- I think he’s a good goalkeeper. If Artur goes (and it’s a big if) Lukasz could be a decent replacement.

Is he under contract for a long time at United? Would a million be a fair price?
