Dundee United striker Noel Hunt has been linked with a move to Reading, to line-up alongside his brother Stephen in the English Championship.
There is speculation that a £400,000 bid for the 25-year-old was rejected by the Tannadice club earlier this week.
Although, United manager Craig Levein is not aware of any such bid and has admitted it would have to be much higher to tempt the club into releasing their top goal scorer.
“Reading did make an inquiry as to Noel`s availability, but we have not had an offer at all, at the level that has been mentioned we wouldn`t be interested,” he admitted to the Dundee Courier.
“Everyone has their price, but we aren`t looking to sell Noel, nor would we welcome bids for him.”
Noel Hunt scored 18 goals for Dundee United last season, including a hat-trick against 1st Division champions Hamilton in the Scottish League Cup.
Born in Waterford (Ireland), the 5ft10 striker has played for Shamrock Rovers and Dunfermline, signing for Dundee United in June 2006.

Noel Hunt is also being linked with Leeds United. He looks a good enough player.
