Scotland manager Craig Levein has called Garry Kenneth and Scott Robertson into his squad for the game against Sweden this week.

The former Arabs boss is already without the likes of Lee McCulloch, Alan Hutton, Andy Webster, Craig Gordon and Gary Caldwell.

And now there are doubts over Graham Dorrans (groin), David Marshall (elbow) and Scott Brown (foot) ahead of the match in Stockholm.

“I’m disappointed to lose some important players but it would have been worse had it happened before a qualifier instead of a friendly,” Levein told BBC Sport. “The players out would not have been available even if it was a qualification match.

“It’s not ideal not being able to use a full-strength squad against Sweden, for the last game before the Euro 2012 qualifiers begin,” he continued.

“But it gives others an opportunity to put themselves in contention and we have added a couple of young players with great potential.”

Scotland squad to face Sweden on 11th August:

Goalkeepers: Alexander (Rangers), Marshall (Cardiff) McGregor (Rangers)

Defenders: Berra (Wolves), Broadfoot (Rangers), Kenneth (Dundee United), McManus (Middlesbrough), Robertson (Dundee United), Wallace (Hearts), Whittaker (Rangers)

Midfielders: Adam (Blackpool), Brown (Celtic), Dorrans (West Brom), Fletcher (Manchester United), Morrison (West Bromwich Albion), Robson (Middlesbrough), Thomson (Middlesbrough)

Forwards: Boyd (Middlesbrough), Fletcher (Wolves), Iwelumo (Burnley), McFadden (Birmingham), Miller (Rangers)
