Dundee United will be without 19-year-old full-back Charlie Mulgrew for at least a month.
Mulgrew, on loan from Celtic, suffered a knee injury after scoring twice in the 4-2 defeat by Inverness Caledonian Thistle at the weekend.
And United player-manager Craig Brewster told the Dundee Evening Telgraph: ‘Charlie has torn a cartilage and will be out for the next month.’
Mulgrew will also be forced to withdraw from the Scotland Under-21 squad.
