Barry Robson has warned his team-mates that Dunfermline will be no pushovers, despite their 8-1 mauling against Celtic last weekend.

Vital Quotes: Barry Robson

‘You get results like Dunfermline’s last Sunday. We had a similar one last season in the CIS semi-final [a 7-1 loss to Rangers].

‘You know everyone has seen it on telly and the papers will be full of it for days but there’s nothing you can do apart from grin and bear it.

‘Jim Leishman and his players are proud guys. They have some good players and they will have spent this week reading the criticism so we’re expecting them to come out all guns blazing.’

Dunfermline Ath Team News:

Lee Mair has spent almost a year on the sidelines with a knee ligament injury, but returned to action as a second-half substitute in last weekend’s 4-2 defeat against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The man he replaced, loan star Charlie Mulgrew, will be sidelined for around a month after being told he needs surgery to repair damage to his knee cartilage, presenting Mair with the ideal opportunity to re-establish himself in the first team.

Terrors boss Craig Brewster told the Evening Telegraph: ‘Lee Mair will be in the squad for Saturday and that is as much as I will say about selection.

‘However, his fitness is not a problem because, although he has not had that many games, we did not rush him back and, in terms of training, he has had a long time to build up to this.’
