Dundee United manager Craig Levein appears more confident about securing Craig Levein is hoping to make at least 3 signings during the January transfer window, after the Celtic match highlighted the weaknesses in his side.
With Polish keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski looking set to leave when his loan deal expires at the end of the month, Levein is on the look out for another talented goalkeeper.
However, with striker Daly out injured for another month, it wouldn`t be a surprise if Levein also signed another goal scorer.
“I want to bring in at least three players when the transfer window opens, maybe more,’ admitted Levein to the BBC.
‘It was really disappointing to lose goals to two set-pieces because that has been one of our strengths.”
‘We were looking solid enough in open play and I don’t think there was an awful lot in it.’
The has been some recent speculation about Barry Robson leaving Tannadice during the transfer window, which would be a big blow to Dundee United if he did leave, but Levein is unlikely to let the 28-year-old midfielder walk away without a fight.
