It might have been good news about captain Barry Robson, but it wasn’t as good news in Steven Robb’s case.
Robb was forced off with a hamstring injury after 15minutes of the opening game of the season against Aberdeen.
He was replaced by midfielder Craig Conway, who himself was substituted off in the 57th minute for Prince Bauben – much to Conway`s apparent disgust.
Barry Robson also limped out of the match late in the game, but has confirmed it was only cramp and he is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the Kilmarnock match next Monday night.
However, it was confirmed earlier this week that Robb has a slightly more serious hamstring injury and might not return to action as quickly as his captain.
“Steven has a problem with the bottom of his hamstring at the back of his knee,” admitted Levein to the Courier.
“It’s so unfortunate for the boy because he did all the pre-season, never missing a session.”
“We don’t think it is anything too serious, though.”
