Dundee United boss Craig Levein has said he might continue sitting in the stands even though he has completed his touchline ban.
Levein was forced to sit in an executive box on Sunday (Nov 5), when the Arabs stunned Rangers 2-1, after picking-up a ban at his former club Raith Rovers. But he enjoyed the view so much that he might return there for Kilmarnock’s visit on Saturday.
Levein told the Dundee Evening Telegraph: ‘I’ve not thought about it too much and I haven’t decided yet, but sitting in the stand does give you a better view of the game and you are a little bit more detached emotionally than when you’re in the dugout.
‘It is something I have done from time to time in the past and, while I am getting to know the players, it might be good for me to stay in the stand, but it is something I’ll decide on later in the week.’
Levein will hope his honeymoon will last for a few more games as he attempts to steer the Terrors away from the danger zone, following a string of dire results under former boss Craig Brewster. Dundee United are currently 11th in the league and just two points above basement-side Dunfermline.
