Norwegian side SK Brann Bergen have apparently refused permission for both Robbie Winters & Charlie Miller to leave the club.

According to some Norwegian sources, the players met with managing director Bjørn Dahl earlier this week, but he refused their requests to leave the club.

Robbie Winters was reported to be out of contract very soon, but conflicting reports suggest that he has another year remaining on his contract, as does Charlie Miller.

Winters was linked with a move to England last month, with Sheffield Wednesday rumored to be favorites to sign the former Dundee United & Aberdeen striker.

“At the moment, we are talking to three serious clubs, one in England and two in Scotland,” said Winter’s agent, Phillip McTaggart.

“Robbie himself wants to play in the Championship and we are working on getting a trial there.”

Charlie Miller is reported to have had a trial in Cardiff recently, but there have been no concrete offers made for the midfielder.

With wages of between £1,000-£2,000 per week, the pair are two of the highest earners at Brann, so its no surprise the Norwegian side would want to see some sort of return for both of them.
