Nottingham Forest have joined the race for Mark Kerr`s signature, making it more likely that the 25-year-old is on his way out of Tannadice in the summer.
The Bellshill born midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, though Dundee United manager Craig Levein is still hoping to convince Kerr to sign a new deal.
Kerr has already been linked with Coca-Cola Championship side Preston North End, along with SPL clubs Aberdeen and Hearts.
Now, English division 1 side Nottingham Forest are rumoured to be very interested in taking Kerr to the City Ground.
“I’m not surprised clubs are interested in Mark,” admitted United manager Craig Levein, after the CIS Cup final defeat to Rangers in March.
“I’ve spoken to his agent and would obviously like to do something to make him stay with us but it all depends.”
