Dundee United manager Csaba Laszlo won’t be going anywhere in the near future.

It follows speculation that he offered to resign following the heartbreaking late defeat at Livingston last week.

That meant the former leaders continue to lose ground on their promotion rivals and are currently down in fourth place in the table.

“I don’t know where that has come from because it’s definitely not true,” Laszlo told The Courier. “We have a lot of work to do but I won’t be running away.

“I am committed to the club so I don’t know where that came from,” he promised. “I want to be here for the long term and I am committed for next season also. Every club needs stability.”
