Dundee United host Queen of the South this evening attempting to move back within three points of second-placed Livingston (kick-off 7.45pm).

The Tangerines suffered a late defeat in West Lothian last week, and are now occupying fourth place in the table; a full seventeen points behind leaders St Mirren, although with three games in hand.

Their latest visitors are a further five points below them while also having played a couple more games after their weekend scoreless draw with Dunfermline Athletic.

It’s a hugely significant week for United, who reported the pitch in good condition earlier this afternoon, with them also hosting leaders St Mirren on Friday.
