Dundee United boss Csaba Laszlo hit out after his side succumbed to a 3-2 home defeat to Queen of the South.

The Tangerines made another poor start while trailing by a couple of goals at the interval.

However, defender Mark Durnan began a recovery that was soon added to by Scott McDonald, although the visitors still went on to grab a late winner.

“I am very angry and disappointed because we dominated the game for maybe 80 minutes but lost three goals,” Laszlo told the Dundee Courier. “You have to be clever and not handle the situation like we did at the first goal, and at the second there was no danger.

“After that, we came back and I was thinking it was possible to press them more at 2-2 but we made the same mistake at the third goal, with nobody there to block the ball,” he added. “It is painful because people are asking me what`s going on. I am suffering as a manager to see this. I don`t want to see this.”

United remain third in the table but seven points behind second-placed Livingston with now only two games in hand.
