Lee Wilkie is expected to sign for Livingston on loan tomorrow after today’s reserve match against Dunfermline.
The former Dundee defender is expect to play in reserve match at Gayfield (1pm kickoff) this afternoon, before starting a one month loan spell at the Division 1 club – which should help improve his match fitness and allow him to get some more games under his belt.
Wilkie was expected to have gone out on loan earlier last month, but an ankle knock put the loan deal back a few weeks.
He made an appearance on Dundee United`s substitute bench at Easter Road on Saturday, but it was unlikely Levein would have put him on unless it was absolutely necessary.
‘Lee will play in our reserve game and then we will be able to let him go out on loan,’ said Levein.
