United bring in striker

Dundee United have brought in striker Cammy Smith on a season-long loan from Aberdeen.

The 20-year-old is a product of the youth system at Pittodrie and should be available for the Betfred Cup group stage visit to Arbroath on Friday evening.

“I am delighted to bring Cammy into the Club,” manager Ray McKinnon told United’s official website. “He is a fantastic young footballer whom I have worked with at the various Scotland levels.

“He will add quality to our forward area and he can play in any of the four forward positions,” he continued. “This signing adds more quality to our squad as we focus on the start of the competitive fixtures.”
