Dundee United are looking to defeat visitors Dunfermline Athletic and progress into the knockout stages of the Betfred League Cup this afternoon.
The Championship duo are contesting a best runners-up place behind group leaders Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who yesterday thrashed Arbroath 7-0.
Midfielder Scott Fraser appears ready to return for the hosts and defender Paul Dixon is making progress on his knee injury.
“We’ll decide then if he [Dixon] can make it for Sunday but the main thing is he’s making a bit of progress,” manager Ray McKinnon told the Dundee Courier. “It’s looking encouraging. I don’t think he’s done anything serious.”
