Aberdeen will confirm the signing of midfielder Mark Kerr next week, after the 26-year-old left Dundee United when his contract expired at the end of last season.
Kerr was expected to complete a move to English 1st Division side Huddersfield Town this week, but will instead agree a 2-year deal with Jimmy Calderwood`s side when he completes his medical.
After 186 appearances and 4-years as a Dundee United player, Kerr quit Tannadice in search of a new challenge.
The former Falkirk player was linked with both Aberdeen and Hearts, but was originally hoping to make a move into the English divisions, though no serious offer materialised.
