Dundee United and Barcelona will play to a capacity crowd inside Tannadice on Thursday night, with United supporters being encouraged to greet the Barca players with a wall of Tangerine.
Director of Communications, Derek Robertson, has appealed to Dundee United supporters to come to Tannadice dressed entirely in Tangerine, to create an impression on the visiting team, press and television cameras.
“The new home top went on sale last week and is proving to be very popular with purchasers. Also very popular is a special Barcelona match souvenir tee shirt,” confirmed Derek Robertson in the club`s official weekly eNewsletter.
He continued, “Talking of which, wouldn’t it be great if we could all wear something tangerine next Thursday?”
“A capacity 14,000 exclusively Dundee United support is rarely, if ever, seen and it would be a fantastic sight to see Tannadice all and exclusively tangerine for once.”
“Let’s make Thursday 26 July Tangerine Night.”
