In just a few weeks in charge, he`s already made a dramatic impact at the club, winning 2 games out of 2 and already equaling the same number of SPL wins Craig Brewster achieved whilst he was at the club.
Even with Craig Levein still warning that there are tough times ahead, Dundee United supporters are looking forward to the January transfer window and hoping that the manager will make his mark on 1st team squad with some inspired signings.
However, the important question on everybody`s lips should be – WHERE WILL THE MONEY COME FROM? – because like every other football club in Scotland, Dundee United are struggling financially and its well know that the Chairman, Eddie Thomson, is investing much of his own savings into the club.
It`s rumored that Thomson has spent over £5million of his own money already and on top of that he`s also promised Craig Levein that he`ll give up more of his well earned savings to bring in several new signings in January.
With attendances dwindling at Tannadice in recent months, it`s about time that Dundee United supporters did their bit to help the club in their hour of need. Time we all started turning out in greater numbers to offer a bit more financial support to the club and hopefully, that will mean a few more pounds in the transfer budget, and less out of ET`s savings account.
Half Price Season Tickets
Dundee United has made it even easier for supporters, by announcing the half price season ticket, which gets you in to 10 SPL matches, starting with Hearts` trip to the city on the 23rd of December.
But whether you are a season ticket holder, are planning to become a season ticket holder, or pay at the gate – all Arabs need to start getting to the games more often and giving the team there vocal support, because a full Tannadice is a scary prospect for any visiting side!
