Who Is The Real Villain In This Story?

Creeping out of the shadows, carrying a bag marked ‘Swag’, the Dundee United manager continues his illegal nocturnal activities… well, according to the SFA president, Craig Levein is comparable to a ‘Criminal’.

Dundee United were hoping the SFA would review the Mike McCurry situation in an unbiased manner, reviewing all the evidence before jumping to decisions.

However, that is unlikely to happen, because SFA president George Peat has made it quite clear which way the SFA General Purposes Committee meeting is going to go.

The SFA are likely to be as unbiased as referee McCurry was at Ibrox, when he conveniently missed a stonewall penalty and a red card for David Weir, then somehow ruled a David Weir own-goal offside and managed to miss Daniel Cousin and Kirk Broadfoot assaulting United players.

Now, the Tannadice club are seeking legal advice, after George Peat called Craig Levein`s comments about bungling referee McCurry as ‘Criminal’.

Ironically, It was McCurry’s decisions in the 3-1 match at Ibrox which robbed Dundee United of a chance to secure 3rd top spot and an estimated £1,000,000.

“Dundee United see this as a massive breach of procedure on the part of the SFA,” announced the club in an official statement this week.

“In our opinion, his comments will undoubtedly influence the General Purposes committee’s view on this matter, and are highly prejudicial in the extreme.”

“Dundee United wish to record their deep concern that the SFA president has spoken out in his capacity before the General Purposes Committee has decided if there is a case to answer,”

“The use of the word ‘criminal’ by the SFA president in yesterday’s newspaper has meant, unfortunately, that we as a club will now have to seek legal advice on this matter.”

Dear oh dear. Every day our joke of an association just keeps digging themselves into a deeper hole. Go get them, Arabs. You will have the support of all Jambos, of that I’m sure.

You will most certainly have the support of all the Celts as well for that matter. McCurry is a cheat, in more ways than one 😉

well said Stockport !! but listen lads ,, as much as I can appreciate that the rest of the supporters outside the old firm have a united view that the so – called bigger teams get an equal share of dubious decisions can I just say that this is an entirely different situation all together ,, what transpired at Ibrox wasn,t dubious decisions ,, it was something far more sinister than that and I would implore your club to stand their ground here ,, for it is a can of worms that is needing opened as a channel for the truth to escape from ,, it will be very interesting to see where this takes us and I am of the opinion that it is a can that the mis managers of the game in this Country have no express wish to tamper with ,, particularly in light of the recent revelation that the Reverend Mc Curry’s dog collar integrity no longer exists ,, good luck ,, and know now that you have my full support in your quest for justice ……..!!!

Good article here…..I’m in total agreement.

  • The Green Griffin says:

Personally I think United will be hammered for having the audacity to question the pro- Rangers establishment. Sad, but true. Expect a large fine and a lengthy touchline ban for Levein.

If the powers that be don’t do that, then it would be tantamount to agreeing with Leveins argument.

    And that won’t happen, unfortunately.

    Respect for fighting them, though.
