Manager Ray McKinnon wants a ‘fearless’ Dundee United going into their play-off quarter-final first-leg at Greenock Morton this evening.

The two sides already drew 1-1 at the weekend in their final games of the regular season, extending United’s unbeaten run to six.

“Leading into these play-offs, we are the form side,” McKinnon told BBC Scotland. “We should have won the last six games, we have created enough chances to win the six games, which is a real positive for us.

“We did the same on Saturday. We have hit the woodwork five or six times,” he added. “So it’s important to make sure we realise we are in good form. We haven’t had the just rewards in these six games but we go into the games in the right frame of mind.”

The return meeting is on Friday and with the eventual winners facing runners-up Falkirk in the semi-final.
