Dundee United midfielder Stuart Armstrong is understood to be being monitored by Queens Park Rangers.

The Scotland Under-21 international was observed first-hand during the weekend 5-1 mauling of Motherwell and responded with a goal and assists.

“Stuart is a brilliant player and I’m sure there will be a number of clubs interested in him,” fellow marksman Ryan Dow told the Dundee Courier. “Hopefully he can stay with us. There will always be clubs sniffing around him, though, as he’s such a good player.”

Armstrong has already made 40 appearances for United this season while scoring eleven times.
