Dundee United’s season draws to its conclusion with the visit of champions Celtic on Sunday.

Leading scorer Johnny Russell (leg) could miss out and join both Gavin Gunning and Sean Dillon on the sidelines.

Manager Jackie McNamara was though hopeful of returns for full-back pair Keith Watson and Barry Douglas following injury.

“We want to go for the three points,” he told BBC Scotland. “We’re at home and we’ll give it everything to try and get the victory we want to round off the season.

“I’ve told the players to go and enjoy it as it’s the last game of the season and there’s no real pressure as such,” McNamara continued. “It’s obviously still a big ask. We’ve got a lot of players still missing especially in defence which will make it tough.”

Celtic were expected to be without Charlie Mulgrew, Adam Matthews and Tunisian striker Lassad due to knocks.
