Following their midweek home defeat to St Johnstone in the Tayside derby, Dundee United can get back to winning ways in front of their own supporters against St Mirren this weekend.

On loan Newcastle United defender Curtis Good is ruled out with the hip injury that was expected to keep him sidelined for around the next month.

Sean Dillon once again deputised in midweek but could be challenged by the highly-rated John Souttar, while fellow teenager Ryan Gauld is also chasing a recall.

Winger Gary Teale has recovered from injury for the visitors but midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba is struggling with a groin problem.

Skipper Jim Goodwin completes a two-game suspension and David van Zanten (hernia) similarly misses out.
