Dundee United face Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tannadice in their live televised clash on Monday evening.

Midfielder Danny Swanson is in line for a possible recall having completed another week of training while defender Paul Dixon is also available after serving a suspension.

“The game will be even harder after Inverness losing last weekend,” assistant manager Gary Kirk told BBC Scotland. “Inverness are a good side. They will have their players fired up to make amends.

“We have five games to the split now and they will all be massive games,” he added. “We want to be in the top half of the league but it’s still very tight so a lot can happen. A win or two shoots you up the table and a couple of defeats can send you in the opposite direction.”

Inverness are still without Aaron Doran, Chris Hogg and Andrew Shinnie while defender Roman Golobart is back training but unlikely to be considered.
