Manager Jackie McNamara says he definitely won’t be making any panic signings for Dundee United ahead of the new season.

The Tangerines have recently lost key players such as skipper Jon Daley and leading scorer Johnny Russell and McNamara is currently chasing a number of targets.

Already Partick Thistle pair Paul Paton and Chris Erskine, Raith Rovers striker Brian Graham and Queen’s Park duo Andrew Robertson and Aidan Connolly have been brought into Tannadice.

“I still want to add to my squad and I have a number of targets lined up,” McNamara revealed to the Dundee Courier. “It is important that the right players are brought in and that these are properly funded.

“However, I will continue to pursue players who will excite next season and help build a structure and an ethos which will enhance Dundee United for years to come.”
