With speculation linking club captain Barry Robson with a move to Celtic, at least Dundee United manager Craig Levein doesn`t need to worry about finding a temporary goalkeeper for a few more weeks.

Dundee United were set to lose talented Polish keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski at the end of December when his short term loan deal expired.

With the club`s 1st choice keeper Lukasz Zaluska still out with a broken foot, it looked like Craig Levein would have to sign another goalie on a short-term basis, until Zaluska returned to action.

However, Grzegorz Szamotulski has agreed to remain at Tannadice for a further month, to help out Levein in his time of need.

Unsurprisingly, Szamotulski`s short-term deal includes a get-out clause which would allow him to move on before the 31st of January, if he signed a deal with a new club during the transfer window.
