Dundee United striker Mario Bilate is turning his thoughts towards the weekend meeting with champions Celtic.

The Tangerines currently lead the table following victories in both of their opening games – the latest of which witnessed Bilate coming off the bench to fire an 83rd minute winner against Motherwell.

“We go there with this confidence boost,” he told the Dundee Courier. “We can play good football and I think that sets us apart from most of the teams in the SPFL.

“Hopefully, now we can get a good result at Celtic Park. From what I have been told it has been several decades since United won there but I think we have a good chance,” Bilate continued. “Maybe this can be the perfect opportunity to strike and win there.”
