Striker Scott McDonald admitted the weekend loss at Falkirk was a complete “horror show”.

Second-placed United crashed 6-1 even though Billy King gave them a sixth-minute lead at the Falkirk Stadium, conceding four times after the break.

“You don’t even want to watch a video,” McDonald told BBC Scotland. “It’s a horror show but you have to and we’ve done that already, talked about it and it’s time to stop talking and we’ve got to get back on the grass again and put on a performance and get back to winning ways.

“We have to keep the pressure on St Mirren, there’s no question on that and there’s still a lot to play for,” he insisted. “There’s 16 games to go, it’s only one game. The manner of the defeat is the most hurting point.”
