Skipper Jon Daly said it would have to be something really special to make him even consider leaving Dundee United.

The 29-year-old striker has enjoyed a really successful season and is currently joint leading scorer in the SPL alongside Celtic’s Gary Hooper with eighteen goals.

“I’m under contract, so it would have to be the right move for the club,” Daly told the Daily Express. “My family and myself are settled and my little one is starting school in the next year or two, so I’d have to wait and see what comes around.

“To be honest, I don’t know if the Championship would even interest me,” he continued. “Don’t get me wrong, if someone came up with serious money, you would have to consider it, but it’s great to be at United and fighting for European football and to win cups.”
