AEK Athens coach Dusan Bajevic says he feels no extra pressure going into tonight’s European tie with Dundee United at Tannadice.

The Bosnian actually came under attack from his own club’s supporters as a recent friendly against Kallithea was forced to be abandoned.

“I am under no pressure because of what happened, it is in the past and forgotten now,” he told The Courier. “All I am focused on is the game.

“It will be difficult and there is no favourite for this match,” Bajevic continued. “I have seen Dundee United play, they are a strong team with good players.

“I also know the Scottish psychology is very strong so we have to deal with that and match their strengths.”

The Arabs could hold a slight edge in their overall conditioning as they are a week into their season while their opponents have yet to start.

However, Bajevic wasn’t showing any concerns over possible rustiness and is sure his players will be more than ready.

“Strength and physical condition will be very important,” he added. “‘Although we have not had a competitive game so far I am happy with the players and we will cope.”
