With speculation still going into overdrive over the future of winger Craig Conway, Dundee United boss Peter Houston says there has been no further contact from Middlesbrough.

Boro manager Gordon Strachan is a long-time admirer of the Scottish international and latest indications were that a formal approach had been made by the Teesside club.

“There were no further discussions between the clubs, so everything is as it was,” Houston told the Evening Telegraph. “If Middlesbrough want to speak to Craig Conway, they`ll have to meet our valuation.”

And most thoughts are that the Arabs’ valuation is expected to comfortably exceed £1m if the Championship title hopefuls want to add the Scot to their ever-growing collection at the Riverside.
