Dundee United full-back Keith Watson wants his side to maintain their momentum for their visit to Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Sunday.

The Tangerines scored twice during the final seven minutes to rescue a late point against Hibernian and avoid a fourth successive loss last time out. That followed a tremendous sequence of six straight victories and Watson is targeting a return to that kind of form in the Highlands.

“The boys did really well to pull it back and they don’t know when they are beaten,” he told the Dundee Courier. “We could have even nicked another one near the end there, given the way we finished the game.

“That shows you that there is a fighting spirit at the club and we should take confidence from that comeback,” he added.
