Dundee United boss Csaba Laszlo admitted it was a vital three points at the weekend.

Winger Billy King struck twice to complete a 2-0 victory against Greenock Morton at Cappielow Park and maintain top spot in the table.

“Generally, I think the three points were very vital,” Csaba told the Dundee Evening Telegraph. “St Mirren won against Brechin so, at the moment, we have to think about the next game.

“Saturday is finished, we take the three points and we go into the next game playing like how we played against Morton,” he added. “Morton are a very good team, physical team and they’ve had a good run, some good results. They had confidence and I think for us it was very important for us to break down this confidence.”
