Following successive victories in their first couple of games, early pacesetters Dundee United face the ultimate test when travelling to reigning champions Celtic.

Defenders Sean Dillon, Mark Wilson and John Souttar are still out as the visitors look to maintain the early momentum which has brought them triumphs over Aberdeen and Motherwell.

“This is another big test for us but it’s one we’re really looking forward to and can go there with a reasonable amount of confidence,” manager Jackie McNamara told BBC Scotland. “It’s a lot to do with belief when you go to somewhere like Celtic Park and play a big team like Celtic.

“We are in good spirits with the start we’ve made to the season and we’ll be looking to carry that on in Saturday’s game.”

Celtic have Charlie Mulgrew back from suspension and Leigh Griffiths from illness – but skipper Scott Brown [hamstring] is still out.
