Dundee United have finally received the first payment following the recent sale of defender Andrew Robertson to Hull City.

The Tangerines were boosted by over £1m after a delayed opening settlement from the English Premier League club.

That was eventually received late last week – along with an apology from the Tigers, who stressed there had simply been a misunderstanding over passing on the initial payment.

United are due a total of £2.85 million for the highly-rated 20-year-old Scotland international left-back.
