Dundee United’s young side needed a late equaliser in a 2-2 draw with Forfar Athletic at Station Park last night.

Jordan Moore was the man who came off the bench to do the honours for the top-flight visitors. The 20-year-old has successfully fought against skin cancer over recent months.

“What he’s been through in the past year or so off the field has been phenomenal,” manager Jackie McNamara told the Dundee Courier. “Football was always secondary and you could see what it meant to him and the rest of the lads when he scored.”

In-demand Andrew Robertson had earlier given his side the lead until former United striker Dale Hilson scored twice.

The Tangerines also included Radoslaw Cierzniak and John Souttar within their ranks, while newcomers Blair Spittal and Charlie Telfer similarly had run-outs.
