Goalkeeper Cammy Bell has left Dundee United by mutual consent.

The 30-year-old signed a two-year deal last summer but was transfer-listed earlier this week. He was previously with Rangers and Kilmarnock while also being capped by Scotland.

That follows United manager Ray McKinnon lately recruiting Port Vale goalkeeper Deniz Mehmet and Harry Lewis on loan from Southampton

Bell made 49 appearances for the Tangerines as they were eventually beaten by Hamilton Academical in the play-off final last season.
