Dundee United manager Craig Levein has cast doubt on speculation linking goalkeeper Lukasz Zaluska with a move to Celtic.
There was talk of Zaluska moving to Parkhead to become Artur Boruc`s replacement, should Celtic`s number 1 be tempted away by AC Milan during the summer.
However, Levein has backed the 25-year-old Polish keeper for the number 1 spot at Tannadice, despite 23-year-old Celtic keeper Michael McGovern signing a pre-contract agreement on the 17th of June.
“Lukasz is first choice now and when I bring someone in over the summer it will be as No.2, but I’ll be looking for them to push him and make sure he’s looking over his shoulder,” admitted Levein to the Daily Record.
“Lukasz has improved steadily since coming into the team and I’m happy with his progress”.

I think Zaluska is an excellent keeper, and would love to see him at CP. I’d also like to bring Noel Hunt on board as well. I think he’d provide great back up for McDonald- his scoring record at Tannadice is on a par with Skippy’s at Motherwell, and what a success he has been. So, Arabs fans, if I was Lawwell I’d offer £3 million for the pair- a fair price?
You can have them at that price. How about Riordan Mark Brown plus 2million.
