Dundee United still haven’t received any firm bids for their leading goalscorer David Goodwillie according to his manager Peter Houston.

The 21-year-old has recently been linked with possible moves to Rangers and Blackpool after winning his first Scottish cap back in November.

To date he has already found the back of the net eleven times this season, which has in turn alerted the attention of a number of clubs.

However, the Tayside club are yet to receive any firm bids for his services.

“The chairman has been keeping me well informed if anything’s happening and nothing’s happening,” Houston told SkySports. “As yet, there’s nobody out and hopefully it stays that way.

“If we keep the same squad between now and the end of the season and get some of the ones fit who are first-team players, then I’ll be more than happy.”
