Dundee United have handed a two-week trial to Cowdenbeath’s midfielder Morgaro Gomis after the Frenchman has impressed in the Second Division.
The 20-year-old, who has previously been on the books of Barnet and Windsor & Eton, will train with the Terrors while still playing for Cowdenbeath.
Boss Craig Levein said: ‘I’ve brought Morgaro in to work with us for the next couple of weeks. I saw him play for Cowdenbeath earlier in the season and he impressed so this will give me the chance to look a bit closer.’
Gomis, who was also on Chelsea’s books as a youth, has dazzled crowds in the Second Division and the trial will give Levein the chance to see how he can perform alongside players of a higher standard at Tannadice.
