Ayr United and Dundee United have still to agree a fee for Craig Conway, after the SFL couldn’t get the 2 clubs to agree a fee for the 21-year-old midfielder.

Dundee United challenged the authority of the SFL to decide the outcome of a tribunal concerning the valuation of the player, with the Sommerset club demanding £120,000 for Conway.

Cash strapped United are unwilling to budge over their own valuations, despite Ayr cutting their original valuation by over 50%.

However, there is now also an appearance clause to be considered, after Conway has played in over 20 league matches in Tangerine – 18 from the start, 5 as a sub.
