Dunfermline Athletic are set to benefit from a clause in Noel Hunt´s contract.
The canny 1st Division side will receive a share of the Noel Hunt´s transfer from Dundee United to English Championship side Reading.
The 25-year-old moved down south to join his brother Steven, in a deal worth an estimated £600,000.
Dunfermline are expected to get around £50,000 because of a clause allowing them to capitalise if Hunt moved on to a bigger club after United.
The Irish born striker switched East End Park for Tannadice in June 2006, for around £50,000.
Last season he was Dundee United´s top goal scorer with 18 goals.
