Dundee United bid to continue their progress at the top while hosting bottom club St Mirren on Saturday (kick-off 12.30pm).

The Tangerines are currently unbeaten in thirteen games and looking in great shape going into the New Year – only finding themselves separated from the outright leadership on goal-difference.

That record has in turn rewarded boss Ray McKinnon with the Manager of the Month accolade for November.

He’s without defender Lewis Toshney this weekend following his sending-off during the scoreless draw at Raith Rovers. Either Sean Dillon or Frank van der Struijk is his likely replacement.

Otherwise, midfielder Stewart Murdoch and striker Simon Murray are both pushing for starts against opponents unbeaten in their last three games while winning twice.
