The top two in the Championship meet this evening as Dundee United host leaders Hibernian at Tannadice.

With the Tangerines currently unbeaten at home and their latest opponents still undefeated away, it’s sure to be a hotly-contested fixture between the two front-runners.

Aside from sidelined left-back Paul Dixon, United have a full squad available. Teenager Jamie Robson will continue to deputise in his absence.

“We are a better team now than the last time we played Hibs,” manager Ray McKinnon told the Dundee Courier. “I think we’re stronger because we have come further. It was a new team but we’ve had a run of games now. I’m quite relaxed going into the game.

“Everyone has their fitness up. There is a better understanding because at that time we were a bit fragmented,” he admitted. “The team has progressed because we’ve gelled better now and the partnerships are growing.”

Hibs are definitely without midfield duo John McGinn [ankle surgery] and Fraser Fyvie [groin], while Marvin Bartley [toe] is another doubt and Dylan McGeouch [groin] has been regularly carrying a knock.
