Dundee United have their Scottish Premiership play-off final first-leg against Hamilton Academical at Tannadice this evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Tangerines’ midfielder Scott Fraser is available following an x-ray on his foot injury, while Stewart Murdoch remains doubtful after having to be withdrawn early in the semi-final first-leg meeting with Falkirk.

Defender Lewis Toshney is also out of contention, although goalkeeper Cammy Bell, midfielder Willo Flood and striker Simon Murray have each overcome knocks.

“It comes down to these two games,” manager Ray McKinnon told BBC Sport. “We’ve put ourselves in a great position and it’s down to the players’ commitment, hard work and desire that we’re here.

“I know it’s going to be very, very difficult, but we’re all motivated to do our best on Thursday and Sunday,” he added. “So, as long as we’re in the game going into the game on Sunday, we have a chance.”

Hamilton skipper Mikey Devlin [cruciate ligament] definitely misses both ties, and the visitors were waiting to discover if fellow defender Georgios Sarris recovers in time.
