Dundee United’s home clash with Hamilton Academical was postponed following a 5.20pm pitch inspection.

Heavy rain over the past 24 hours left the game in serious doubt and match referee Willie Collum called it off after making his check.

“Our prime priority here is to make sure that the players are safe,” Collum told BBC Scotland. “The condition the pitch is in, we can’t guarantee the players’ safety.”

The fixture was already previously cancelled due to bad weather and no new date has yet been announced.
