Dundee United’s final pre-season game ended with a 2-0 defeat at Leeds United.

Welsh international Steve Morison gave the hosts the lead and substitute Dominic Poleon added a late second.

Michael Tonge delivered early for Morison to tuck his side ahead from close-range.

Tommaso Bianchi almost added another when being denied by the woodwork while Marco Silvestri kept out Ryan Dow at the other end.

Four minutes from time Poleon seized upon a loose ball and went around goalkeeper Radoslaw Cierzniak for a second goal.
