In-form Jon Daly has played down recent rumours of interest from West Bromwich Albion and Wigan Athletic.

The Dublin-born striker has scored fourteen times this season, including in the late weekend defeat to Aberdeen, but wasn’t taking the latest specualtion especially seriously

“I`ve been in the game long enough to know there`s always stuff like this, just rumours,” Daly told the Daily Record. “But it`s always nice to be linked with clubs like that. You must be doing something right.

“The boys had a bit of banter about it. Willo Flood gives me a bit – but I give him as much as I get, ” he added. “I think it`s the most I`ve scored in a season for the club. Playing with Johnny Russell, Paul Dixon and Gary Mackay-Steven, I know I`m always going to get chances.”
