Dundee United winger Craig Conway will require a scan on his knee after breaking down in training.

The Scottish international has been out of action for the last three weeks with medial ligament damage and attempted to resume training yesterday. But unfortunately he was forced out of the session.

“We’re sending Craig for a scan,” Tangerines chief Peter Houston told the Daily Record. “He’s bursting to get back but normally medial ligament strains need three to four weeks to get over and we won’t risk him unless he’s 100 per cent.

“If he isn’t ready for Kilmarnock on Saturday, hopefully he’ll be available for us when we return from the international break.”

Central defender Garry Kenneth has already confirmed his fitness for the game at Rugby Park, while midfielder Morgaro Gomis is improving well after hurting his back against St Johnstone at the weekend.
